The sensualist is treated as depraved and materialistic, which I disagree with. If hypocrisy is an indomitable vice (THE PLATONIST, 1881, p. 2) of the sensualist, so is the blindness and double hypocrisy of the thinker and authority, who though mortal and flowing with the same nervous system as other mortals, pretends to be above the sensory experience. Sensualism is natural to living, as it is to breathe, but further, one who lives devoted to the sensualist experience may live it in a variety of ways, and not just what one props up as an example or strawman, such as a ‘sex-crazed and drug-riddled man wasting his riches on hookers.’ Just as I protested before, such type of thinker pretends to know what is true, truth, and the best manner to live, though fixes it to a life of abandonment and aloneness, particularly from other humans, and mostly from women (see Eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven: Women, Sexuality, and the Catholic Church, Uta Ranke-Heinemann).
When one is sitting on the grass, on the beach and so forth believing oneself to be alone, is the philosopher not surrounded by the rich biology of life? If it is taught, that to experience TRUTH, one cannot be a sensualist, how so, when hidden senses, which we are not readily or so easily able to exercise, are still sensory experiences? When I take a bite of food, I live for the experience of the taste of pasta, wine (or cocktail), for gelato, and savor it. It goes the same therefore when I spend my time with the people I love, or in deep contemplation. It is a sensory experience.
Man — an organism made of many smaller organisms.
Man — born of flesh and a nervous system can never be beyond sensory experiences, even if the nerves are not able to communicate properly.
How can we not say that such person, particularly the philosopher and priest, that says such a thing is a liar and more than likely is a sensualist in some manner, or even in the criminally suspect sense as countless cases demonstrate. The mythological construct of the abstinent Judeo-Christian deity part of a sexless heaven has created a negative influence on Western culture. The Tanakh is full of rape texts and an array of sexual conflicts taking place in the mortal world, just as they do apparently among the religious. As Yahweh and Jesus are both useless and unhelpful on the topic of human sexuality. Western culture is still trying to develop its thought on Sex, since the existence of passion is repudiated in the world of sexless deities, or deities like Yahweh whose sexuality is suppressed in his separation from Asherah. To approach the sacred worlds of the God of the Tanakh, it requires leaving the sexual realm. The closer the proximity to the sacred, the more one is said to become less attached to the sexual realm. The self-described religious, philosopher, mystic, or occultist have all managed to use certain concepts to influence others, that they are sexless, if not that one must be. Therefore, their reputation in public life has depended on maintaining a sexless and either anti or non-sensualist image.
