Charlie Kirk, conservative activist and founder of right-wing youth organization Turning Point USA has died today after taking a shot to the neck at a Utah Valley University event on campus. Kirk spent his days peddling slanderous racist propaganda, perpetuating racism towards Muslims, skewering the undeniable facts about the Palestinian genocide broadcasted live to the world, and gradually introducing college students to poisonous White ethno-nationalist and Third Position arguments. The latter compose decades of right-wing propaganda, fueling racial and ethnic divisions in a country still conditioned by past racial trauma and scientific racism. We must also remember when he called George Floyd a “scumbag,” while he defended the disgustingly treacherous January 6 Insurrection on our Capitol, as he railed against urban areas (Democrat-run cities) and Minneapolis. Kirk defended the voices against Derek Chauvin as corrupt and disingenuous, hypocritically unaware of the falsehoods he spreads and their consequences. Charlie Kirk represents an era of high political subversion, and his ideas and work must not live on in the minds of the youth in this country. Kirk was not the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America.

They will fashion a political martyr out of Kirk for political gain, but they have spit on the legacy of other people. Kirk spent the last of his years of commentary attacking the professional careers of Black people and the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., and now they make him into their MLK. J.D. Vance and Trump only care about their own side. These are political hacks.
When they say, ‘True American,’ they mean themselves against you, me and everyone else, who they label “radical left.” These are the type of people Conservatives choose to be their hero, while verbally driving through the muck the lives of countless people. Kirk was a political propagandist, not a hero. Kirk was close to the president and his family, and that is why he is their hero. Many of you are not truly familiar with the deceitful tactics of the political Right in this country, long before social media, especially in this era under Trumpism.
People like Kirk facilitate in spreading propaganda and sentiment, that gives Republican Party voters the belief in you as evil and demonic. For anyone to lower in a state of false compassion for a racist who spent his daily breath spreading race realist propaganda about “Black-on-Black” crime statistics and the stereotype of Black people as violent, demand or expect we must pray for him, or care is telling. This weakness is telling about our position, while this administration is in power, intent on maintaining it ruthlessly. If I died tomorrow, or any notable person within our community, who is not Conservative, in the exact same way, this President would lower the U.S. flag half-way for me or you who oppose them?
Who the Republican Party care for and who they celebrate is highly selective. This death is close to them, again, because Kirk is the idealogue they choose as their hero, playing him up to be some great intellectual and debater of our political age. I can find a dozen people between the ages of 18-31 who would dismantle every single one of his main arguments. He was not my hero. Do not suddenly develop a case of amnesia about these political actors, and do not think that I condone his murder. While we may all agree that the assassin will pay with the death penalty, in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah — feel sorry for him? Many of us do not and will not.
I suggest that all those who are truly serious about defeating this subversive administration get tough and focus on getting this administration out of office with a fierce and unflinching attitude.

The Republican Party was already working on this before Kirk’s death, and Kirk contributed to that fight. We are governed by a President who is stretching every limit of the Constitution, subverts the meaning of our government, and wants to destroy an entire political party.
You want us to feel sympathy, when before Kirk was even declared dead, the propagandists made it a political attack against “the left.” Now, you will be brought onto news segments to say how sorry you are for his death, then get gaslit by right-wing propagandists. The Right began to exploit and attack the moment Kirk was shot. Charlie Kirk represented a movement mocking, propagandizing and exploiting the youth in this country, and we must develop counteractive vision, tactic and strong-mindedness against this era of power-hungry American Conservatives and Christian Nationalists.
Same person, calling victims of police violence “scumbag,” revealed himself numerously with his rants on DEI.
