From Jerusalem to Philadelphia!

Stephen Miller’s recent speech, American Conservative tradition and Trumpism.

I say that Republicanism is not about the supremacy of Conservatism or Liberalism, though it is the root of the American order. I also claim that Theosophy, eclecticism, Freemasonry and the history of occultists and esoteric Philosophy is a missing key to understanding these roots, which lead us to more ancient history that tie the religious tradition of Jews and Christians to American history. American conservative tradition and the political Right does not have its roots in Republicanism, but American conservatives have sought to fuse Republicanism and Conservatism. I have argued before, that this is not really possible, and that some have sought to limit the scope of Republicanism for their partisan political schemes.

So, Conservatives try to present itself as the root of the American order, but it isn’t actually.

I would argue on all wisdom I hold dear, that I think no one should be supporting Trump and his entire administration, even on the belief that Trump is some sacrifice for the conservative ideals of many other actors and opportunists. The error of American conservative tradition is that it grounds itself on the moral order and authority of the Judeo-Christian framework as the root and center of the American order. The American conservative majority and those in power like Stephen Miller who cribs here and there from The Heritage Foundation, do not exhibit, display nor embody the wisdom from the heritage and traditions they claim for themselves. Republicanism and the struggles of the demos should unify the political parties, whereas now, our divisions have been deliberately accelerated. The liberal and the left on the other hand thinks the talking points about the roots of the American order from Jerusalem, Athens, Rome, London, and Philadelphia is a declaration of Fascism but unfortunately know nothing.

Stephen Miller took this from The Heritage Foundation, which based its ideas on the writings of American Conservative Russell Kirk, not Hitler or Mussolini. Again, the root of the problem is homegrown, not foreign.

I doubt Miller reads or can articulate any of Russell Kirk’s works coherently of pressed on the spot. Whatever is the case, many conservatives have sold their souls to support this administration, and the ideal underlying modern American Conservative politics.

As to placing the center of the American order in the ideal of Jerusalem, this all has a history and emotional framing with Americans. Russell Kirk omits other influences of the roots of the Republic, which do not fit the Christian Nationalist narrative, like Stoicism and the Pre-Socratics. The roots do not originate in Abrahamic religion and does not end with them. This is part of the problem and source of American Christian fixation (right and left) with Zionism and Israel. It exposes a limitation in the reading of history on this continent, which excludes and erases the contributions of others. This is just one point where my work differs from the more intellectual conservatives. Many of these people sacrificed their brain to the architects of project 2025, who will run this country into the ground.
